EPDM Coated Rubber Playground Tiles

EPDM coated rubber playground tiles are a perfect upgrade on standard SBR tiles where Reach compliance is required.

Manufactured from SBR rubber the top layer of colour is coated with EPDM allowing them to be Reach compliant and have increased fire and smoke resistance.

As the tiles are EPDM coated they offer significant savings over our EPDM granulate tiles. However, our full EPDM range does have an increased choice of colour.

Features

1. Made from black SBR granulate that uses PU binding agent. The top layer of black SBR granulate is coated with EPDM rubber to provide a reduced risk of carbon leaching and improved toxicity results.
2. Available in black, red, green, grey colours.
3. Exhibit a fire resistance of Cfl to EN 13501 and a smoke resistance of S1
4. TÜV certified tiles meet the Attractions and Playground Apparatus Act EN1177
5. A total of 3-year guarantee for wear-resistance, except for tiles when used intensively (no guarantee for color)
6. 100% recyclable tiles are environmentally friendly

Uses

1. Can be used to serve as a safe, cushioned surface for children’s play areas to prevent injuries and meet toxicity requirements for use with young children.
2. Suitable for creating weather-resistant flooring on rooftop patios and garden areas
3. Provide a slip-resistant and water-resistant surface around swimming pools
4. Ideally used in public walkways, garden paths, and other outdoor areas for creating a low-impact surface
5. Used in indoor and outdoor sports courts and gymnasiums
